New Luigino Concept Skates

すでにアメリカ国内大会で、お披露目されたようですが、新コンセプトの Luigino スケートが SkateLog Forum で紹介されています。 その肝心のコンセプトは・・・"The idea, as explained to me at nationals, is to apply force where it belongs.... in the middle of the "blade". It is also to allow for natural bending of the frame that isn't restricted by having two mounting points. "・・・なのだそうですが、これだけではドーもハッキリ解りません。興味ある方はチェックしてみてください。

New Luigino concept

Saw this setup at nationals. It is interesting. It will be very hard to make it strong enough for indoor competition.

The idea, as explained to me at nationals, is to apply force where it belongs.... in the middle of the "blade". It is also to allow for natural bending of the frame that isn't restricted by having two mounting points.

I don't know that I believe any of it, but that was the explanation that I received.

The prototype I saw did have 2 bolts... but only 100mm wheels and the deck height was rather high.

It's not a clap skate. The frame is being fixed with two bolts.
